More Hokkaido Milk Bread

I'm getting very addicted to this bread. It's so soft and tasty that I just can't think of baking other bread. This morning I wanted to bake another loaf for Pauline, to thank her for the lovely agar-agar cake she's made for Olina last week.

But discovered she was on MC from a throat infection (hope she's better now).

So I change my plan in the last minute and rolled some cheddar cheese into the dough instead. I've seen this in one of the blogs and thought it was a great idea. The result was not bad at all. Still soft and fluffy, with melted cheddar cheese *yum yum*. However, the original milk loaf taste has been overpowered by the cheese.

This recipe will probably serve as my base bread recipe for all other breads that I may bake in future. The kids love the bread too. The bad thing about this is, I'm getting so used to home made bread, fresh from the oven, that I'm starting to reject the idea of buying off the shelf breads for breakfast. Just don't feel like eating them anymore.

Mood: satisfied
